The Our Future Services programme will deliver a cost-effective immigration system that is more productive, more effective at managing immigration risk and provides a better experience for customers and staff. It is designed to address four key areas: 

 

  • Making visa processing more efficient
  • Mitigating risk of technology and service failure
  • Proactive and sophisticated risk management
  • Improved customer and user experience. 


The Programme will mean changes to our systems, operating model and way we work.


The Senior Change Manager is a people and planning focused change role, connecting the dots between workforce, technology and leadership, and supporting the programme from planning through to delivery.
 
Key priorities: 

 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop an integrated plan, connecting workforce and technology change activity to deliver a cohesive change experience
  • Develop and deliver a change leadership programme to support leaders to deliver and embed change effectively
  • Develop and lead the change communications and engagement approach and planning
  • Provide expert guidance on culture change, transition and implementation planning across the programme.

  • Proven experience in organisation-wide change programmes, especially those with a strong people focus
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex change planning, sequencing, and delivery across multiple workstreams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Depth of knowledge related to HR change communications and change engagement approaches


To be eligible for this role you will need to either hold New Zealand citizenship or a New Zealand Permanent Residence class visa.
