Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:

 

We are seeking a Senior Business Analysts to join the Online Services team in the Future Services branch. 
The position will be assigned to the ADEPT workstreams within the scope of the Our Future Services programme, working on building new products or enhancing features on our ADEPT system. You will have a direct working relationship with the Delivery Lead and delivery team, and a reporting line to the Director Online Services. 


Our Future Services is a long-term work programme to deliver a more flexible immigration system that can respond well to change, manages risk more effectively and improves the experience for customers and staff. 


The programme will be delivered through multiple workstreams working in parallel with each workstream implementing key initiatives with set milestone dates.
The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in the programme team and be responsible for business analysis that develops options and solutions to improve the customer and staff experience and contributes to the successful implementation of the Programme deliverables and outcomes.

  • Extensive experience of business analysis work including working with impact analysis, tools and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead, contribute to and participate in delivery teams to identify options, designs and model alternatives for implementation of initiatives, both tactical and strategic.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the operations of Immigration New Zealand, MBIE and the mechanisms of government.
  • Ability to lead and coach staff to grow the business analysis practice.
  • Expertise in user engagement, problem solving, collaboration and continuous improvement to develop options for and solutions for business problems and opportunities. 


You must be a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident visa holder.
