Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:

 

As our Senior Business Advisor, you’ll play a key part in shaping Strategy & Assurance’s business planning and performance framework. You’ll drive the development of our core accountability products — including the Annual Review and contributions to the Annual Report — and work across MBIE and S&A to strengthen the systems that support confident, well informed leadership.

 

You’ll provide the planning, reporting and insights that help the S&A Leadership Team make great decisions, manage risk and deliver assurance.

 

This is a role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment — you’ll adapt quickly, shift focus when needed and help keep the organisation moving forward.

•    Strong conceptual thinker and problem solver with sound judgement and innovation 
•    Clear, concise communicator with excellent writing skills (correspondence and briefings) 
•    Confident working through complexity and ambiguity to deliver effective outcomes 
•    Self motivated, results driven and able to perform under pressure 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels 
•    Demonstrates maturity, political nous, flexibility and strong teamwork in fast paced environments 
•    High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and excellence 
•    High energy, drive and motivation 
•    Knowledge of Te Ao Māori, including tikanga, Te Reo and strong understanding of Te Tiriti principles
•    A relevant tertiary qualification
•    Legal right to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand.
