The Senior Advisor Group Strategy & Planning is in the Office of the Deputy Secretary (ODS) Branch of Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery.  An important part of our strategy role is to build the connection between strategic objectives, business planning and delivery of outcomes that align with the focus areas and mission of the TWSD Strategy.

 

The Senior Advisor Group Strategy & Planning is responsible for supporting the ODS Branch and Group to meet strategic goals, working across the business to deliver the best possible support for our services and regulatory systems alongside identifying opportunities to play a key role in project management and delivery activities that enhance our reputation and optimise the wider value our team provides.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Proven strategic initiative and measurement activities execution
  • The ability to adapt your communication style for a range of stakeholders, and to establish strong and trusted working relationships across the Group
  • Demonstrated achievement in developing, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of strategic and business plan activities for performance enhancement
  • Highly developed analytical skills and the ability to analyse and identify issues, solutions and benefits in a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • The ability to work well under pressure and the capacity to multi-task effectively to achieve deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
