About the Role - Tēnei tūranga:
We’re looking for a Senior Advisor to join our friendly, high‑performance team to help deliver services during a period where we are anticipating a higher-than-usual workload.
In this role, you’ll lead accountability processes for up to three Ministerial portfolios and oversee end‑to‑end processes associated with the annual budget cycle.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing high‑quality briefings for Ministers
- Developing materials for Select Committee hearings
- Being responsible for performance measures relating to your portfolios, and the associated contextual information
- Leading a range of key processes across the 11 portfolios the Group is responsible for
You will have hands on experience working in accountability related work, such as preparing for hearings, responding to questions, managing performance information and writing briefings to Ministers, preferably across multiple portfolios. You will need to be comfortable absorbing information from dense information, identifying connections across various reports and configuring and working with large documents and spreadsheets. You will have a well-developed risk radar.
