Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:
As the Programme Coordinator you will play a key role in providing support in delivering key initiatives that support the Building, Resources and Markets key priorities to strengthen Māori Crown relations and capabilities and other programmes of work.
Your work week will be varied but rewarding, fast paced, and require a collaborative approach to work in partnership with the team and wider MBIE.
Your day might include monitoring and reporting on project progress and deliverables, coordination of governance requirements for leadership team, managing the organisation of meetings, events and new learning programmes, organising agendas, minutes and meeting papers or providing general administrative support for the team and work programme.
We are looking for someone who is customer focused, flexible and agile with a passion for bringing structure to fast-moving projects and programmes. You will thrive on collaboration, continuous improvement and generating new ideas and ways of doing things.
You might be an experienced administrator or coordinator or even have had exposure within a project/programme environment and looking for a new opportunity. The role will report directly to the Director, Partnerships and Capability
Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience Required
- Knowledge of, and comfortable with use of te ao Māori and te ao Māori practices; tikanga, te reo and a sound understanding of the Treaty/Te Tiriti.
- Proven track record in providing high quality coordination and support within a fast-paced environment would be advantageous
- Sound prioritisation and organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across multiple business activities
- Demonstrated agility and ability to respond to changes in demands and priorities
- Have an excellent working knowledge and experience of the full Microsoft Office
- A reputation of exceptional customer engagement and partnership with experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels
- Be a highly motivated self-starter
- Must have legal right to live and work in Aotearoa NZ
