Person specifications - Director

At this time, the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology is seeking experienced directors with proven commercialisation experience. You will have:
  • Proven governance experience.

  • A genuine interest in science and its economic benefit for New Zealand. 

  • Background in science and innovation, ideally with experience in the commercialisation of science.

  • Expertise in change management and human resources.

 

Additional skills, experience and attributes
  • Business and commercial acumen, including industry connections.

  • Financial acumen, including audit and risk management expertise.

  • Stakeholder management experience.

  • Media and public relations experience.

  • Credibility and experience within the science system and connection to end users.
