Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:
We have an opening in the Business Support team. Our team currently supports two branches (Energy Markets & Resources Markets), totally around 150 people. These branches are responsible for providing robust strategic, policy and regulatory advice on energy markets, operational regulation, and compliance services.
We have an ambitious and exciting work programme ahead to lead the energy and resource sector’s transition to a low-emissions economy. The work is becoming more transformational and strategic in nature and a new model with newly created positions has been established to set the function up for success.
You will quickly shape this role to your style and ensure the office is running smoothly. We operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and we enjoy the challenge of working to meet key priorities and tight deadlines.
We are a friendly and energised team, where our PA/Team Administrators are pooled together and report directly to a team leader. Our branch has a great culture and a positive working environment and meaningful connections.

Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in being a PA and Team Administrator or similar roles
- Diary management and competent user of Outlook, Microsoft office and other business systems (finance, HR)
- Skilled in using/applying processes with judgement and common sense
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- A customer-centric approach, with the ability to quickly establish and build strong working relationships and to develop trust and credibility within the unit and with our customers and stakeholders
- Proactive working style and strong initiative
