Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:
We have a unique opportunity for an Investment Analyst to support our work in our Regional Development and Commercial Services Group.
You will be analytically minded, able to draft and write reports, provide information to decision-makers and provide financial analysis that describe the risks and benefits of investment proposals as well as performing client management activities in relation to existing investments.
Your relationship management skills will hold you in good stead, working with a broad variety of external stakeholders and internal customers across the Unit, MBIE and partner agencies. You will need to be focused and thrive under pressure and have a proactive approach to deliver best practice analysis and solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to display:
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- Good accounting/financial skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships, both externally and internally.
- Tertiary qualification or relevant experience
- Must have legal right to live and work in NZ.
