Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:

 

We are seeking a Delivery Lead to join the Future Services branch.

 

The position will be assigned to an ADEPT workstream working on building new products or enhancing features on our ADEPT system. The position will initially be assigned to the ADEPT Policy workstream however changes in ADEPT workstream assignments may occur over time. You will have a direct working relationship with CDSS’s Portfolio Delivery Manager, a Delivery team made up of INZ and CDSS kaimahi, and a range of INZ leaders and a reporting line to the Workstream Delivery Manager. 


As a Delivery Lead, you will play a critical role in the core programme team responsible for leading the successful implementation of change initiatives from across the INZ enterprise work programme.

  • Proven experience in managing parallel delivery of complex technical and business change initiatives.  
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical and functional requirements within a business context and translate this to a non-technical audience 
  • Self-managing, with the ability to perform a range of tasks under competing demands, prioritise effectively and escalate issues accordingly 
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver shared goals 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the machinery of government and processes that apply within the public sector
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for various audiences 


You must be a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident visa holder.
