Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:

 

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Coordinator to join our Entity Performance branch at MBIE. This role provides efficient and effective support services to Managers and teams who work on performance monitoring of our Crown entities. 


Using your administration skills and coordination experience you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the teams.  This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has excellent relationship management skills. 


Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Coordinating briefings, statutory reporting and other forms of advice
  • Diary management, including internal and external meetings
  • Competent user of Outlook, Microsoft office and other business systems (finance, HR)
  • Assisting with ministerial servicing and tracking responses
  • Managing contracts, invoices, and procurement processes
  • Developing and maintaining efficient administrative systems and processes

Skills and Experience Required
 

We’re looking for someone with:

 

  • Proven experience in a coordination or administration role
  • A common-sense approach to managing competing priorities
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads across multiple teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Significant experience and proficiency covering Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic environment
  • The legal right to live and work in New Zealand
