About the Role - Tēnei tūranga:
In Customer, Design and Innovation we provide shared services to other branches across the Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery group to help them deliver their important work. These shared services include investment, planning, operational policy, service design, business insights, data and systems, branch business management and assurance.
The Allocation and Coordination team are setting up a process to manage all work coming into the CDI branch and we are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Branch Business Administrator to provide support.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch work programme by delivering high-quality administrative support, maintaining systems and databases to successfully triage work requests, calendar management, monitoring of shared mailboxes, preparation of documentation and contributing to process improvements.

Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in providing administrative support to teams
- Ability to build strong relationships with others to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic environment
- Ability to work under pressure in a complex environment, work independently and ensure that priorities are balanced with expectations of stakeholders
- Wide ranging knowledge of administration systems and processes including identifying process improvement opportunities
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Experience working in the public sector would also be an advantage
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
