About the Role - Tēnei tūranga:

As Verification Manager, you will lead a team of Verification Officers delivering risk and verification services that support high-quality immigration decision making.

You will be responsible for creating an environment where your team can thrive, managing team performance, workload management, quality assurance, capability development and the successful delivery of operational priorities. Working within Immigration New Zealand's global Risk and Verification network, you will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple markets to manage risk, drive continuous improvement and deliver excellent service outcomes.

Skills and Experience Required

We're looking for an experienced people leader with a track record of delivering results through others.

You will have:

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong operational leadership and performance management skills.
• Experience in risk, compliance, assurance, verification, investigations, regulatory or similar environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Experience driving quality improvement and operational excellence.
• The ability to lead through change and influence positive outcomes.
• Knowledge of immigration, visa risk, immigration compliance and regulatory environments would be advantageous.
