Authority Officer – Employment Relations Authority (ERA)
• Salary: $68,380 - $77,359 + Kiwisaver + wellness benefits

Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:
This is a dynamic, high-volume and fast-paced position where you will provide high-quality case management, administration, and operational support to ERA Members. Your work ensures that matters progress efficiently to determination, helping maintain the integrity of the employment relations system.
You will thrive if you enjoy managing complexity, adapting to changing priorities, and working collaboratively in a team that deals with sensitive and high-stakes issues.
What you will do:
• Actively manage case files through to determination.
• Proactively manage tasks and deadlines to implement Member instructions and maintain case progress.
• Managing and maintaining robust administrative systems to track and monitor a varied caseload
• Ensuring the timely flow of information, documentation, and procedural steps
• Schedule case management conferences and investigation meetings, aligning the availability of ERA Members and parties.
• Communicate with parties and ERA Members on case file activities and ensure clarity.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness and checking simple calculations.

What we are looking for:
• Experience in case management or coordinating complex processes (legal, regulatory, or similar environment preferred).
• Experience in working with high volume workload and workflow management.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient computer literacy with Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new information as required.
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
