Are you a highly organised detail-orientated professional with a passion for logistics and warehouse management?  


The Insolvency and Trustee Service (ITS) is seeking two Logistics Officers to play key roles in managing and maintaining assets at our secure warehouse facility.

 

As a Logistics Officer, you’ll oversee receiving, storing, preserving, and disposing of assets held in our warehouse.  Working closely with Insolvency Officers, you’ll ensure the seamless processing and handling of high-value assets while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and organisation.  This role also involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and delivering excellent service to visitors and stakeholders.

 

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the seizure, receipt, storage, and disposal of assets
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records for all warehouse activities
  • Co-ordinate with specialist providers to meet deadlines
  • Escort visitors through the facility and support case administration
  • Operate forklifts, hoists and other machinery as required

Skills and Experience Required
 

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics, particularly with high-value assets
  • Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • A team-orientated mindset with a commitment to excellent customer service
  • Initiative, sound judgement and discretion
  • Computer proficiency and ability to adapt to technology systems
  • Relevant licenses for operating machinery or a willingness to obtain them
  • A full drivers license and experience handling vehicles, machinery, or marine vessels
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
