At Business Registries, we administer critical compliance functions on behalf of the Registrar of Companies, enabling corporate entities to meet their legal obligations.

 

We are looking for a motivated Compliance Officer to join our team and make a difference.


 
What you’ll do:
 

  • Administer compliance functions for the Registrar of Companies and other statutory offices
  • Work collaboratively with the Investigator and Business Registries teams to uphold market integrity
  • Contribute to compliance and enforcement strategies to ensure fair and thriving markets
  • Liaise with other agencies and draft clear, concise reports
  • Analyse complex problems and develop effective, workable solutions

Skills and Experience Required
 

  • Knowledge of the statutory functions of the Registrar of Companies and relevant legislation
  • Proven experience with registry systems and compliance processes
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Critical thinking and decision-making capabilities, even in time sensitive situations
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
