Welcome to MBIE's Digital, Data and Insights Community
MBIE's Digital, Data and Insights (DDI) Group is responsible for strengthening MBIE's core data and insights, and digital technology capabilities. Our key objectives are to ensure MBIE is digitally enabled, and a data and evidence-led organisation.
We have just undergone a significant realignment of the digital and data capability across MBIE, and we are in the exciting early stages of building our new teams and embracing new ways of working to deliver MBIE's large, diverse and interesting work programme.
“Our team is growing, we have a large diversity here, we respect each other, support each other and most importantly work towards the same MBIE values”
Leo, Capability Lead Quality Assurance
"The learning opportunities at MBIE are endless and there is room to wiggle and change course if you want to”

“What motivates me every day is knowing that I am doing my part in helping our organisation build a digitally enabled and evidence-led organisation that is empowered by data, and I am able to contribute to MBIE’s mission to grow Aotearoa New Zealand for all”

“I love working for organisations that make a difference. I was sold on MBIE during my interview process because of the great variety of interesting and complex projects that were happening, the ability to implement new and innovative technologies, and the ability to work across lots of different business areas. And now that I’m here, it lives up to that promise"
Genia, Senior Project Manager
“While we are passionate about people, technology, data and our craft – doing good and being able to make a real difference in the lives of our people and all New Zealanders is what we value more. If this resonates, make the leap and help us be the difference”
